Eliana Smith: A new face to the Omaha fashion design community, Eliana Smith was originally born in Cordoba, Argentina. Coming from a very close European family, food, education and an appreciation for the arts was regarded as most important to her parents. As a young girl she was drawn to the world of classical voice and timeless fashion. She attended the University of Utah and majored in their wonderful Vocal Performance Program. Still passionate for design and having already made gowns for many of her performances, she attended the Fashion Institute of SLC where she studied all things design. May 2010 she graduated with her certificate from the Fashion Institute of SLC. Eliana’s main aesthetic is tailoring as she works with many different textiles to put spins on classic silhouettes with intricate detailing. Her customer is beautiful and admired wherever she goes, but most importantly, she knows who she is and what she wants from life. Eliana is proud to have debuted her first full collection during Omaha Fashion Week, 2010. Special Thanks To: Omaha Fashion Week, Yellow Bird Fabrics, MakeMeChic.com, Rebecca and my wonderful spouse Gavyn for there awesome support and patience throughout this process.
