Going Green with Envy!

Keeping up with the trends and styles of the fashion world is not an easy task. Although it may seem effortless to just pull on whatever piece of women’s clothing you may feel drawn to, we are all constantly being influenced and persuaded by new trends and old ones too. Although I have to admit, it’s absolutely divine being creative and spinning off of recent trends, it’s also nice to stick to your permanent items. Yes, the ones that no matter what the magazines and designers say, it will always be in style to you! To me, that is where the olive green collared shirt comes in.

The militant olive green collared shirt is just enough fashion and function for me to reach for whenever I want to feel comfortable and casual chic at the same time. Women’s clothing can be a bit cumbersome at times depending on the style and outfit. Depending on your day and mood, we have different levels of tolerance for tricky clothing- think straps, buckles, buttons, etc. So it’s always a nice breather to be able to resort to your stash of comfortable clothes.

The easiest way to style a simple collared shirt with a nice olive green tint to it, would be the all American way: with jeans and fashion boots. But when you think about it, almost any top is acceptable with a pair of shape hugging jeans and some fashion boots! A Pop of Gray!

With so many colors to choose from, the shade of gray has become the most beloved hue on the streets. From the various styles and colors that are splashing onto ankle boots, one of the most versatile colors is the gray that is making its way onto ankle boots.  

What’s so practical about these ankle boots, is its ability to be worn year round. The style of the ankle boots is great whether you’re wearing pants, shorts or skirts. The shape of ankle boots gives your legs the cute round look at the end of your stems to create a real soft finish to your outfit. With gray ankle boots, the neutral shade will allow the rest of your outfit to really pop and make its way to the forefront.

In the streets, fashionistas have heralded the simple look of the gray ankle boots. One of my favorite ways to wear the gray ankle boot is to use one other color to really create one single line with my outfit. Black never ceases to give me the boost I need and bring the glamour to even the most casual of outfits.
